The Edward J. Tabah Visiting Professorship in Surgical Oncology

This professorship was established in 1990 by the Cedars Cancer Institute in honour of Dr. Tabah. Its objective is to bring to the MUHC a renowned world expert in the field of surgical oncology on a yearly basis.   MUHC surgeons and heath care providers are given first hand acces to the latest developments and technologies in the surgical oncology direct from Cedars invited guest lecturers.

The Vivian Saykaly Visiting Professorship in Medical Oncology

This fund was established in 1991 through the generosity of the Ernest and Vivian Saykaly family. Its objective is to bring to the MUHC a renowed world expert in the field of medical oncology on a yearly basis.  MUHC medical oncologist and health care providers are given first hand access to the latest developments and technologies in medical oncology direct from Cedars invited guest lecturers.

The Wilfrid Howick Humanitarian Fund

In 1991, in memory of a humanitarian of the first order and through generous donations for the Howick Family, the Cedars Humanitarian Fund was endowed as the Wilfrid Howick Humanitarian Fund.  Through this fund, Cedars is able to provide assistance and resources for cancer patients in financial need. From the rental of equipment for home care to transportation to home or child care assistance, the Wilfrid Howick Humanitarian Fund allows Cedars to help those most in need.
