Public Lectures

The immensely popular and informative Public Education lectures on Cancer, held by Cedars CanSupport, is designed to be of interest to those patients currently dealing with particular types of cancer and their families. Each lecture is given by experts from the MUHC who donate their time for this valuable community service. The latest research findings and treatment options are presented by the speakers. As well, the common concerns of cancer patients  are voiced in the 'Patients' Voices' segment of the program. These special 'human interest' stories, presented by patients and former patients, are always a favourite and particularly meaningful part of the program for the audience. Following every lecture, there is a question and answer period where all speakers participate.
