Kids for Kids, the popular Montreal charity organization founded sixteen years ago by a group of twenty-somethings eager to raise funds for local children’s causes joined forces with the Sarah Cook Fund of the Cedars Cancer Institute in support of pediatric oncology at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC). Since its inception, these dedicated young people have raised over $2.25 million for various local children’s charities.
Always one of the most highly-anticipated charity event for the 20-40 crowd, the 2009 Kids for Kids gala did not disappoint. On Friday, November 27th, Kids for Kids will presented “Magic”. Over 800 partygoers mixed it up on the dance floor to the beats of DJ’s compliments of Red Bull. A lively pre-party cocktail will feature open bar service and delectable delights from Java U. Over $75,000 was raised, purchasing a Pediatric head-ring, helping in treatment for children undergoing radiation therapy.
