40th Annual Cedars Golf Classic Raises over $300,000 net for the
Cedars Cancer Centre & Montreal General Hospital Foundation’s priority needs in surgical oncology
The Cedars Cancer Foundation and the Montreal General Hospital Foundation were pleased to partner this year to celebrate the 40th Annual Cedars Golf Classic on Monday, June 18. Once again, this year sold out both courses at The Royal Montreal Golf Club and raised over $300,000 net and participants enjoyed an all-inclusive day full of golf, food, drinks, awards, and auctions. With 200 golfers and dozens more sponsors, participants and volunteers joined together to throw another successful edition of the Cedars Golf Classic.
“We are truly blessed. The generosity of our guests is absolutely amazing. The support of all of our sponsors, participants and the dedication of all our volunteers is what makes this event such a success,” said Demo Trifonopoulos, Co-chair of the Cedars Golf Classic. “We feel fortunate to be able to make this large contribution to the Cedars Cancer Care Mission.”
Thank you to our event co chairs Demo Trifanopolous, Paul Sawaya, and Andrew Carter, and to our sponsors, donors, participants and volunteers who are instrumental in helping us Go Beyond. Their contributions are what allow us to do everything in our power to offer hope to cancer patients and their families; help healthcare professionals in their practice; encourage new knowledge; and to not only dream of novel treatments and cures, but also provide the sustained investment that is required to make these dreams a reality.
