​Loyola Family “Think Pink Campaign” raised approximately $7,000

The student council and student services office at Loyola High school came together with Mrs. Supino on October 19th to celebrate the “Think Pink” campaign held at the school, by organizing several activities to promote awareness and fundraise for Cedars Cancer Foundation to help families touched by breast cancer.
"Four students bravely had their heads shaved by a Loyola mother and cancer survivor”. A “Free Dress Day/Pink Laces & a Pink Cupcake Sale raised approximately $7,000. The extraordinary event was further supported by “The Beat Breakfast” team.

Mr. Jeff Shamie Director of Cedars Cancer Foundation was present to give a presentation at Loyola High school thanking the exemplary efforts of the Loyola Family. “The Think Pink “campaign will have direct positive impact on families treated at the Cedars Cancer Center at the MUHC.
