The 15th Annual Mamma Mia Dinner and Dance was another inspiring night!

Mamma Mia celebrated their 15th anniversary on Friday, May 12th 2017 at the Club de Golf Metropolitain.

A variety of Italian food was served for dinner and a mix of tunes, both old and new, played as ladies danced the night away. Dr. David Fleiszer, a Surgical Oncologist specializing in breast cancer, and Dr. Antonio Vigano, a Supportive & Palliative Care physician were present and both spoke meaningfully to the crowd of woman. A speech was also given by a very courageous breast cancer survivor, who took us through her journey with the disease and her determination to overcome it. In all, the night was a resounding success with the funds raised totaling over $25,000. These funds will benefit the Cedars Breast Clinic Wellness Initiative. The Wellness Initiative provides women of all ages and walks of life with fully-integrated, "one stop" health care and support during one of the most difficult times of their lives. The Montreal clinic offers state-of-the-art care for over 20,000 women per year with nine surgeons, five radiologists, three specialized nurses, six radiology technicians, 3 kinesiologists providing lymphedema care and a psycho-oncologist who specializes in the care of breast cancer patients - at absolutely no cost to women with breast health concerns.

The Cedars Cancer Foundation and the Cedars Breast Clinic wish to thank Maria Gervasi and the Mamma Mia Women’s Association for, once again, organizing such a beautiful and inspiring night. Bravissimo!
