The 20th edition of the BDO Cedars CanSupport Dragon Boat Race raised $650,000 – and counting – to fund support programs and services for MUHC cancer patients and their families.
The event, which is the primary annual fundraiser for Cedars CanSupport, brought together more than 500 paddlers and nearly 100 volunteers for a half-day of exhilarating dragon boat races on Lac Saint-Louis, in Lachine. Despite the rain, the event was fun-filled, emotional and inspiring.
Cedars is extremely grateful to all the partners, donors, paddlers, and volunteers who came together as a community to make sure that Cedars CanSupport can fulfill its mission and continue to help patients and families when they’re at their most vulnerable – because no one should have to go through their cancer journey alone.
