2025 Gwen and Tom Nacos Visiting Professor in Supportive and Palliative Care

On May 20 and 21, 2025, we proudly hosted the 3rd Gwen and Tom Nacos Visiting Professor in Supportive and Palliative Care: Camilla Zimmermann, MD, PhD, FRCPC. Dr. Zimmermann is a Professor of supportive and palliative care at the University of Toronto. She is also Head of the Division of Palliative Care at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto. Dr. Zimmermann is internationally known for her research on palliative and supportive care, particularly in the area of early integration of palliative care for patients with cancer.
