The Cedars Cancer Foundation mourns the loss of Edward Siwiec 1939 - 2026

The Board of Directors, leadership team, and staff of the Cedars Cancer Foundation mourn the loss of Edward (Ed) Siwiec, who was the President of our Board of Directors from 1990 to 1992.

Ed served on the Cedars Board for 11 years, many of them as treasurer, before becoming President. Along with overseeing the growth of the Foundation, he used his tenure as President to ensure Cedars’ fiscal accountability. During Ed’s term, the Wilfrid Howick Humanitarian Fund continued to grow and gain significance as a vital component of our supportive care offering to cancer patients in financial need.

We are very grateful to Ed for his many years of service to Cedars and for his guidance and counsel.

We extend our profound condolences to Ed’s wife, Eliane, to his sons, Robert and John, and to his entire family.
