Over $10,000 collected for cancer patients and their families

Last week, from June 14th to 17th, the Westmount Victoria Village Merchants Association (WVVMA) hosted its Westmount Street Fair. An event that is organized with families in mind, this year the WVVMA took its community spirit one step further by partnering with the Cedars Cancer Foundation.

“It’s important to raise awareness about the needs of cancer patients and their families, but also important funds to support clinical care, research and education,” highlighted Cedars Board Member and Real Estate Broker, Christina Miller. “It was a privilege for me to help sponsor this great event and to encourage our community to give back.

Cedars thanks all those who stopped by the foundation’s tent and gave generously, as well as the WVVMA for its Strut for a Cause fundraising initiative. Over $10,000 were collected, proving that the Westmount community has a lot of heart.
