Cedars Cancer Foundation is excited to be presenting our 3rd Symphony for ‘The Bell’ on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 12th, 2024 at 4pm at the magnificent St. Andrew and St. Paul Church.
The concert, a partnership event with iMedici di McGill Orchestra and Trio de l’Ile, will feature works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Edward Elgar, Jean Sibelius, Frederick Delius and Edward Benjamin Britten.The concert will raise awareness and funds forthree important patient centred programs at the MUHC’s Cedars Cancer Centre:
‘The Bell’ Fund comfort kit program gives every newly diagnosed patient a kit of essentials and a warm blanket at the start of their treatments.
The Healing Notes program funds a weekly free concert in DS-1 of the Cedars Cancer Centre.
Cedars CanSupport is the humanitarian arm of the Cedars Cancer Foundation, providing complementary support alongside conventional treatment to improve the quality of life of patients and families.
